- A bake sale, benefitting the Alzheimer's
Association, will be held at Morgan Federal Bank in Ft. Morgan
on Fridays, July 25th & August 29th. All proceeds will
go to the Morgan Federal Bank/NCT Memory Walk Team. For

- A Morgan
County recycling drive will be held on Saturday, July 26th &
again on Saturday, August 30th from Noon to 4pm both days on the
south side of the Wal-Mart parking lot in Ft. Morgan. They
will be accepting aluminum & tin cans, newspaper & plastic
milk jugs, juice & pop containers & plastic bags.
- The Morgan
County REA Dutch Oven cook-off will be held Wednesday, August
6th at the Morgan County Fairgrounds in Brush. The cooking
starts at 9:30am with judging at 12:30pm. Deadline to enter
is Monday, July 28th. For more information, call the Morgan

- Anyone interested
in becoming a Volleyball Official is reminded that it is mandatory
that you take part in clinics & study sessions prior to the
start of the fall season. For more information on dates

- The Yuma
Young Farmers will be hosting a 2-person scramble golf tournament
on Friday, August 1st at the Indian Hills Golf Course with registration
at 8am and the shotgun start at 9am. Entry fee is $50 per
person and includes lunch & refreshments and proceeds will
go toward funding scholarships. For more information, call

- The Ft. Morgan
Recreation Department Youth Volleyball Program for grades 3 through
6 will be held at the Middle School on Mondays & Wednesdays
with games on Saturdays. The fee is $30 and you must register
by August 2nd. The
Youth Flag Football Program for grades 1 through 6 will be held
at the Optimist Park beginning September 20th. The fee is
$35 and you must register by August 16th. For

- The Diabetes
Support Group will be meeting Monday, August 18th at 6:30pm at
the East Morgan County Hospital Main Conference Room. The
topic will be diabetes and lab work. For more information,

are welcome.
- The Fort
Morgan Social Security Office, 800 East Beaver Avenue, will be
open Tuesday, August 19th from 9am to 3pm. For more information
